The IEEE Publishing Portal, our streamlined publishing platform, provides IEEE authors and reviewers with an innovative and intuitive experience where they can complete tasks and manage every step of the publishing process—from pre-submission checks through peer review, article production, and post-publication.
Authors who also serve as reviewers can log in with their IEEE account to access a single, personalized dashboard that brings together all of their submission and peer review activity. This consolidated view reduces the need to navigate multiple systems and makes it easier to see what requires attention at each stage of the process.
The Portal also provides direct access to publishing resources and tools designed to support authors early in the publishing process. Authors who are unsure which IEEE publication best fits their work can enter keywords or upload a draft submission or abstract to receive publication recommendations across IEEE journals and conferences.
You will manage all of your submission and peer review activities for IEEE journals that use ScholarOne Manuscripts through the IEEE Publishing Portal, whether acting as an author or a reviewer, as the year progresses. In the near future, editor activities will also be managed through the Portal. Conference publications will also be incorporated as conferences transition to use of the Portal. As adoption expands, users will be able to manage more publishing activities within a single, consistent environment, from pre-submission through peer review and beyond.
Dedicated editor functionality within the IEEE Publishing Portal is a key development priority. This capability will allow a single user to manage their editorial responsibilities together with their author and reviewer activities within the same platform. Updates and training materials related to editor functionality will be shared through established IEEE editor communication methods.
The IEEE Publishing Portal represents a significant step toward a more unified and streamlined publishing experience across IEEE publications.
